- Ask your kiddo why a why a square is always a kite and a rhombus, but a kite is not always a square and a rhombus is not always a kite?? And, is a rhombus a square every single time??
- This week we revisited an old workplace game, The Product Game, but revised it by using larger numbers to help us practice our multiplication strategies.
- We also continued to make connections between whole numbers, decimals and fractions as we used our multiplication and division strategies with story problems.
- Along with our strategies, we are also working with the multiplication algorithm.

- We prepared for our end of unit assessment for Module 2/Unit 1 where we will gather and organize information from various texts and participate in a science talk in front of peers next week.
- We did some vocabulary work and added to our word walls.
Science this week....
- Our new unit is: Modeling Matter
- Our guiding question for this unit is: What happens when two substances are mixed together?
- We continued with our third and final chapter: Why can salad dressing ingredients separate again after being mixed?
